In 2019 and 2021, the second-phase 50,000 tons/year CCUS project of Jiangsu Huayang Liquid Carbon Co., Ltd. reached full production capacity.

The core power equipment for the CO2 purification and refinement units in both phases—compression and liquefaction systems—features one screw-type CO2 compressor unit and one screw-type CO2 liquefaction unit, both produced by MOON-TECH. This project recovers and reutilizes CO2 from the off-gas of ammonia synthesis and coal-to-hydrogen plants for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) in oilfields.
