On November 18th, the “R&D and Application Project of Wide Temperature Zone High-efficiency Cooling and Heating Coupling Integrated System”, which was jointly completed by MOON-TECH and Xi'an Jiaotong University, passed the technical appraisal successfully. The appraisal was organized by China Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association, with Academician Zhou Yuan from Institute of Physics and Chemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences as the appraisal chairman, and renowned experts from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, and China Domestic Trade Engineering Design and Research Institute as the appraisal committee members.

Experts of the appraisal committee listened carefully to the report of the project team, reviewed the relevant information, and after inspection, Q&A, defense and full discussion, the appraisal committee considered that the overall technology of the project has reached the international advanced level, and reached the international leading level in the aspects of system integration, steam generation, and research and development of screw steam compressor, etc., and unanimously agreed to pass the appraisal. It is recommended to accelerate the popularization and application of the project results according to China's national conditions.

China Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association, Zhang Zhaohui, Secretary-General, pointed out in his speech: with the rapid development of the national economy, improving energy utilization is the only way for our country and our industry technological development. The experts were invited to conduct technical appraisal of the wide temperature zone high-efficiency refrigeration heating coupling integrated system, and to give advice and guidance on the project's technical route as well as the future development of the technology, so that the application of the system continues to improve the technology which promote China's energy saving and environment protection.
