Date:2024.12.30 Size

On December 27, the Supply and Demand Matchmaking Conference of Shandong Electric Power Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CHINA ENERGY INVESTMENT, was successfully held. The conference was jointly hosted by the Yantai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Penglai District Government, and Shandong Electric Power Co., Ltd. Representatives from Yantai City and CHINA ENERGY INVESTMENT attended, with MOON-TECH's Executive Vice President, Shu Jianguo, also present and delivering a speech.

During the conference, MOON-TECH and CHINA ENERGY INVESTMENT signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement. MOON-TECH will participate in the series of projects at the Penglai Power Plant of Shandong Electric Power Co., Ltd. and contribute its technological advantages in waste energy utilization to work together towards creating a greener and more sustainable future.

In his speech, Mr. Shu emphasized that the Penglai Power Plant project, while significantly improving power generation efficiency and ensuring stable energy supply, will also help the robust development of the regional economy. The project is of great importance for ensuring daily living conditions for residents, stabilizing industrial operations, and promoting the development of related industries. Adhering to an energy-saving and low-carbon development concept, CHINA ENERGY INVESTMENT’s Shandong branch has actively explored new technologies such as waste heat utilization and time-shifted thermal energy storage. The company has established a demonstration platform integrating composite energy storage and comprehensive energy utilization, setting a benchmark for the “Generation +” model.

MOON-TECH is actively responding to policy, committed to promoting the green transformation of traditional industries, achieving low-carbon industrial restructuring, and nurturing new quality productive forces. The company has made significant breakthroughs in emerging fields such as deep waste heat utilization at power plants, time-shifted thermal storage, zero discharge of desulfurization wastewater, and CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage). These achievements will drive the development of the Penglai Power Plant and the entire energy sector, realizing the development goals of "energy conservation and efficiency enhancement, decarbonization of power generation structure, upgrading of industrial structure, circular utilization of resources, cleaning of production processes, and intelligent energy supply and demand."
